Alright..instead of bumping the old one back I decided to make a new one. This is still an issue, and has occured more times since the last post.
The problem is this:
I jump into a system and see a few big bad pirates sitting on the gate waiting for me to uncloak. I log off. I stay cloaked as usual and when I uncloak they start shooting me, but I will dissapear in about 15-30 seconds, as long as I am not killed within this time I stay alive. This is a HUGE problem with freighters as you would need a giant force to kill them..If you are in a small gang of 3-5 it is also very hard to kill even BS before they dissapear.
When I found this out (the hard way) I petitioned about a month ago and got a response today, basicly saying this is not an exploit etc. I think we need a timer to make you still flagged with a PVP timer if you are shot at within a minute or so of jump in.

dont know about the freighter exploding but i do know if he was shot at BEFORE jumping in logging off on the other side wont make him dissapear as he was already agressed while logged on

and DukDodgerz ... words can't describe how im feeling right now, you are uninformed and making assumptions. KILLING THEM ON THE OTHER SIDE IS NOT AN OPTION AND SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED IN ORDER TO KILL THEM (they will have instas!!!)
and you would need.... a TON of bs to kill a frieghter that quickly.
And to the people saying to 'adapt' ... How? kill them in 15 seconds? 
BTW if you crashed you would die anyways. logged on or not you should die and not dissapear

think, think harder then the enemy if you keep losing (if that fails, resort to whining to the forums for your "i win" button to be made?)
Ok then. Give me a solution to kill a friegher that jumps in 'think harder!'. Its not like you have half an hour to prepare to kill one, its jumps in and you go for it, without a seconds notice...
